The brand new Chevy Blazer is the first SUV to wear the nameplate since it was discontinued in 2005! While Chevrolet already has an excellent mid-sized crossover SUV (the Equinox), this new Blazer differentiates itself with aggressive styling and performance. While the Equinox is more akin to the Malibu in terms of design language, ride, and target demographic, the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer embodies the spirit of the Camaro. The long, angular headlights with LED piping, wide mouth grille, and sculpted hood clearly mimic the Camaro’s visual presence. All of these new 2020 Blazer models come sitting on 18’’ aluminum wheels standard, and there are 6 available factory wheel options to choose from, in sizes all the way up to 21’’!

The RS is the sportiest variant of the Blazer family, identified easily by its black, Camaro ZL1-esque grille. It sits on 20’’ Dark Android, machine-faced aluminum wheels.     Technology and Performance
    The new Chevy Blazer is available with 2 engines: a 2.5L 4 Cylinder good for 193 horsepower, and a 3.6L V6 rated at a potent 305 horsepower, with 269 lb./ft. of torque. The latter is the same six cylinder found in the Camaro, which is fitting for the SUV striving to emulate some of the same experience. Both engines feature auto start/stop technology to maximize fuel economy. The 2020 Blazer is available both in front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) formats. New Chevy Blazer models are equipped with the 3.6L V6 engine and AWD, and according to GM, they are able to tow up to 4500 lbs.
    Safety
    All 2020 Chevrolet Blazers are equipped with StabiliTrak, an electronic stability control system with traction control, LED daytime running lamps, 7 airbags, a rear vision camera, and a rear seat reminder. Optional safety accessories include rear park assist, rear cross traffic alert, lane change alert with side blind zone alert, adaptive cruise control, advanced forward automatic braking, and a surround vision camera.
    Fuel Economy
    This new model Chevy Blazer features a respectable EPA-estimated 22 city/27 highway MPG for the 2.5L FWD engine equipped models and 20-city/26 highway MPG for 3.6L FWD engine Blazers. The AWD Blazer models lose an average of 1.5 MPG across the board in exchange for their superior traction.
