    The new Chevy Equinox is available with three engine options, all turbocharged, the most potent of which is a 2.0L turbo four, good for 260 lb./ft. of torque, empowering the Equinox to tow up to 3,500 lbs.! A part-time, all-wheel drive powertrain is also available, which gives you the option to propel the Equinox by the front wheels to save fuel, as well as engage the rear wheels for extra performance in difficult road conditions. Inside, all of the new Chevy Equinox models come equipped with a 7’’ Chevy MyLink infotainment display, with available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. 

    Safety  
    The new Chevy Equinox is available with a myriad of safety technologies, including low speed forward automatic braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, forward collision alert, rear cross traffic alert, rear park assist, side blind zone alert, lane change alert, and a rear view camera. 

    Fuel Efficiency  
    The 2020 Chevy Equinox’s fuel economy varies based on the engine and powertrain it’s mated to. The most frugal Equinox is the front-wheel drive (FWD) 1.6L turbo diesel, which is capable of attaining 39 MPG on the highway, and 28 MPG in the city for a combined EPA fuel economy of 32 MPG. The 1.5L base engine returns the second-best numbers, with an EPA combined fuel rating of 28 MPG. The 2.0L turbo certainly trades some of its frugality for performance, but it still returns a very respectable 25 MPG combined.
