The Cadillac CELESTIQ Show Car
Discover the all-electric, hand-crafted, and custom-commissioned CELESTIQ. The CELESTIQ show car is designed to challenge the ultra-luxury space with defining design, technology and performance. The CELESTIQ was built to set new standards for exceptional craftsmanship and technology, while holding true to the 120-year Cadillac heritage.
“The CELESTIQ exterior and interior were designed together to reflect a holistic vision of what American luxury can be,” said Tristan Murphy, Cadillac interior design manager. “With CELESTIQ, we’ve created an even higher level of craft, allowing us to add that beautiful sense of movement through the cabin.”
Within the CELESTIQ, you will find an open and spacious interior, with a focus on meticulous detailing overlayed on a clean cutting-edge design. Each passenger will find themselves invited inside with Cadillac’s signature lighting design. This modern edged, but unmistakably Cadillac lighting, creates a lively and soulful choreographed symphony of light that will turn heads on any road.
General Motors plans to invest more than $81 million into the company’s Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan, to prepare the campus to build the Cadillac CELESTIQ. The renovation work has already begun, with the installation of proper equipment to hand-build the CELESTIQ. The Cadillac CELESTIQ will be built on GM’s Ultium Platform, the heart of the company’s EV strategy. The Ultium Platform encompasses a common electric vehicle architecture and propulsion components like battery cells, modules, packs, Ultium Drive units, EV motors and integrated power electronics.
