Confirmed Service Customer
I took my Chevy Bolt into Henderson Chevrolet for service because the check engine light was illuminated. It's the dashboard icon that looks like a car. Later that day the service advisor called and said there was rodent damage to a wire and the repair was not covered by warranty. He stated that it would cost $880 because the whole front end needed to be removed. I have photographic proof that several of wires were actually cut. There is no sign of any gnawing of wires by a rodent. In speaking to the service manager, he stated that he confirmed with the tech that a rabbit actually exited the vehicle when he opened the hood. I feel like there was some collusion going on with an attempt to extort the $880 from an unsuspecting individual. Your prompt response in investigating this matter is paramount.
