The 2500HD Crew Cab 4WD gives you maximum towing of 18,500 lbs. for conventional and fifth-wheel gooseneck towing. The maximum gooseneck towing capability increases by 52% to a segment-leading 35,500 lbs. This makes the 2020 Silverado HD the most capable truck in the HD segment beating out Ford trucks. On top of that, the all-new in-vehicle Advanced Trailering System offers up to fifteen available exterior views that essentially stitch together images from the tailgate. This provides you with a surround view of your truck and trailer, making hitching and driving easier when you're towing a load.

            The new 2020 Silverado HD also includes a VIN-specific Trailering Information Label. This provides an option our competitors don't offer. The VIN-specific Trailering Information Label lists the truck’s specific trailering metrics, including curb weight, gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), gross combined weight rating (GCWR), max payload, max tongue weight, gross axle weight rating (GAWR) and fifth wheel and gooseneck ratings.    

            The MyChevrolet smartphone app allows you to store and share specific truck-and-trailer profiles and benefit from a host of available trailer diagnostics, such as monitoring trailer tire temperatures and you can even use it to check your camper's water-tank level.
