  • Tires: You'll also want bigger tires and perhaps a ladder to make it easier to get in. Wheels and tires come in a wide range of sizes, and you'll choose the ones that will best modify your pickup for its intended purpose or the look you are seeking.

                                  • Hunting: A small lift could be necessary so you can get off-trail, but if you do not have a trailer might be less important. Bed liners and additional storage are key because you have to carry your deer back home when the trip is done.
                                  • Fishing: Lift does not matter as much, but towing capacity does (so you can tow your boat). Other common customizations are bed liners, rod storage systems, cooler storage, lights, steps, etc.
