Trim Levels

The 2019 Silverado comes in three trims: the WT, LT, and LTZ. Each offers two-wheel or four-wheel drive and a crew cab, regular cab, or double cab.     Engine

    Every 2019 Silverado 2500HD comes standard with Chevrolet's Vortec 6-liter variable valve timing V-8 SFI engine. You can also opt for the 6.6-liter Turbo-Diesel V-8 engine and maximize the 445 horsepower, 910 ft-lb of torque it puts out, making any terrain like a trip down the driveway. Four-wheel drive is standard on the WT and LT models, but if your work is on the asphalt, the LTZ's two-wheel drive is ideal.

      Performance

      With Chevrolet's standard 6.0-liter Vortec V-8, you can tow up to 14,400 pounds. With the Turbo-Diesel engine, you can haul up to 15,400 pounds. Each engine features a six-speed heavy duty transmission, so when the road gets tough, the 2500HD gets going and keeps going.

      With Chevrolet's StabiliTrak control system, the vehicle automatically detects when the trailer sways and applies the brakes. Also, the trailer brakes, if equipped, help bring the trailer back in line. Chevrolet's hill start assist technology prevents roll-back by momentarily applying extra brake pressure while you make the switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator.

        The interior of the Silverado 2500HD is designed for comfort and functionality. With available 60/40 folding rear seats and a 40/20/40 split front bench seat with under seat storage, you can maximize the space in your cab.

        Standard cloth seats can be upgraded to leather-appointed seats with heating and ventilation. Combine that with available dual-zone climate control, and everyone rides in their personal comfort zone. A manual tilt and telescoping steering column and a leather-wrapped, heated steering wheel are also available.
