Trim Levels

The 2019 Chevrolet Equinox comes in four available trims: the L, LS, LT, and Premier. All have that striking, aerodynamic, sculpted exterior that will turn heads wherever you go. An available hands-free liftgate can be programmed to adjust the height to fit a low garage ceiling.

Solar absorbing glass, deep tinted rear glass, chrome roof racks, LED headlamps, and more are all available or come as part of a package. 17-inch tires come standard on the L and LS, while the LT and Premier feature 18-inch tires on chrome wheels. Or, you can opt for 19-inch tires. If a sporty ride is what you're after, check out the Redline edition. The Redline offers a powerful, poised, street smart design.     Engine

    With three engines to choose from, the right fit is easy to find. The standard 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine paired with the six-speed automatic transmission delivers power and efficiency in perfect proportions.

    The 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, making this a fun vehicle to drive. Pumping out 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, the 2.0-liter turbo gets you there fast. Combined with ample torque, towing is a breeze. Simply push the Tow/Haul mode button and the transmission automatically adjusts to help you tow up to 3,500 pounds.

    For the ultra-efficient driver, the 1.6-liter turbo diesel four-cylinder is the perfect option. Get extra miles per gallon without sacrificing the power you crave.

      Performance

      While the 2.0-liter engine gets up to 32 miles per gallon on the highway, the 1.6-liter diesel gets up to an astounding 39. Either way, your small SUV is driving like the super-efficient compact cars you see buzzing around the roads.

      Available on the LT, LS, and Premier models is the switchable all-wheel-drive system. Keep the vehicle in front wheel drive, and when road conditions change to rain, ice, or snow, the system automatically prompts you through the Driver Information Center to put the vehicle into all-wheel-drive. How smart is that?

        The interior is as comfortable as the exterior is aerodynamic. Standard bucket seats can be upgraded to leatherette heated seats. Available leather-wrapped steering wheel, four-way adjustable seats, and a 60/40 split folding rear seat are touches you can add for additional comfort. The Equinox comes with an Infotainment system featuring a 7-inch diagonal touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot. A wireless charging system and up to six USB ports are also available.
