Trim Levels
You can choose from four trim levels with the new Blazer: L, LT, RS, and Premier. The LT trim is divided into three sub-trims, the 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT. With the L trim you'll get a dual-exhaust outlet with bright tips, 18-inch aluminum wheels, a body-colored antenna, body-colored door handles, heated and power-adjustable mirrors, HID headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, and a manual liftgate.
The 1LT sub-trim adds an 18-inch compact spare tire and deep-tinted glass, while the 3LT sub-trim adds black roof-mounted side rails, auto-dimming mirrors with turn-signal indicators, and a power liftgate. The 2LT trim mostly has the same features as the 1LT trim but boasts an upgraded powertrain. With the sporty RS trim comes 20-inch aluminum wheels and a blacked-out front grille, while the Premier trim offers silver roof-mounted side rails and chrome exterior accents.
Engine
The Blazer features two engines. The base engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, paired with a nine-speed automatic, that generates 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. This engine is only available with front-wheel drive. With the 2LT trim and up, you'll get a powerful 3.6-liter V-6 engine, also mated to nine-speed automatic, that kicks out 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. This engine can be optioned with front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
Performance
If you opt for the RS or Premier trims, your Blazer will be equipped with an advanced all-wheel drive system that will afford you improved control by automatically directing torque to the rear wheel with the most traction when driving conditions are poor. Any Blazer with an all-wheel drive system will also provide you with various drive modes that allow for different driving conditions. These modes include Tour, All-Wheel Drive, Sport Mode, Off-Road, and Tow/Haul.
Interior
The cabin of the Blazer boasts ample passenger space and is equipped with a state-of-the-art infotainment system. The base trim comes with the Chevrolet infotainment system that features an 8-inch display, a 4G LTE hot spot, six speakers, Bluetooth, four USB ports, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. This trim also offers active noise cancelation, an electronic parking brake, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless open and start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, premium cloth upholstery, and umbrella holders.
The 1LT and 3LT sub-trims add power-adjustable and heated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, remote start, perforated leather upholstery, and a universal home remote. With the RS trim you'll get ambient interior lighting, a heated steering wheel, a cargo management system, and navigation, while the Premier trim will give you a Bose premium eight-speaker audio system, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and memory settings.
Safety
Standard safety features include teen driver settings, a tire-pressure monitoring system, automatic headlights, and a rear-vision camera. The 3LT trim and up come with added safety features such as lane-change alert, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist.
