General Manager
Jim is from Peoria, Illinois, but now resides here in Effingham. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren. At Dan Hecht Chevrolet – Toyota he is the General Manager and oversees all aspects of the dealership. His favorite part of being the General Manager is working with people to come up with solutions to solve the problem at hand. He has always been a part of the business, but officially started working here when he was fourteen years old
Sales Manager
Danny is originally from and currently resides in Effingham, IL. At the dealership, Danny is a Sales Manager who specializes in Chevrolet trucks. His favorite part of his job is watching a customer drive away, happy with their new purchase. He enjoys hunting, fishing and, coaching sports during his time away from the dealership. Danny has been a part of the dealership his whole life, but was officially introduced to the business when he was ten years old!

Bob currently resides here in Effingham, Illinois. He loves spending time fishing, relaxing out on the golf course, and with family. Here at Dan Hecht Chevrolet – Toyota he is the General Sales Manager. In his position, he loves watching customers drive away in their new vehicle. Even though he grew up around the dealership and it has always been a part of his life, he has been officially working here for thirty-five years.

Paul is from Highland and currently lives in Mattoon, Illinois. When he is not working he enjoys doing yard work, fishing, boating, hiking, camping, and traveling. Here at Dan Hecht, he is a Finance Manager. He loves seeing customers get excited about their new purchase.

Jon is originally from Mattoon, IL and currently resides in Toledo, IL. Here at Dan Hecht, Jon is a member of our Finance and Insurance Department. Part of his job is to help his customers drive away in the car of their dreams. Outside of work he enjoys fishing and RZR riding.
Sales Manager
Heath is from Nokomis and currently resides in Stewardson, Illinois. When he’s not at work, he enjoys spending time with his son, riding side by sides, fishing, and pretty much anything outdoors. He is our sales manager at the dealership and he enjoys helping customers find the vehicle they deserve and helping the sales team reach their goals.
E-Commerce Manager
Lori is originally from Newton, IL and currently resides in Effingham, IL. She oversees the E-Commerce Sales here at Dan Hecht Chevrolet – Toyota. Lori is an active member of the Downtown Effingham Business Group, the Effingham Tourism Advisory Board, and is a member of the marketing committee for the Effingham Regional Career Academy. In her free time she enjoys going to car shows, going on weekend trips with her husband Dennis and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Chad is a current resident of Effingham, IL where he was born and raised. He enjoys spending his free time outside but especially when he is fishing, hunting and golfing. Mitch currently resides in Effingham with his wife Cinda. Mitch started his career at Dan Hecht in 1987 as a lube tech. He later moved into mechanical repair, and then in 1993 assumed a service advisor role. Mitch was promoted to Service Manager in 2020. During his free time, Mitch can be found watching sports and spending time outdoors. Mitch enjoys playing outdoors sports when he can, grilling and being with his family (when they are home) Mitch looks forward to helping you with all of your service needs.

Iris joined the Dan Hecht team in 2010. She will be happy to answer any questions you have and if she doesn’t know the answer, she will find it out. Iris and her husband Bill reside in Altamont and enjoy boating, Jeep’n and spending time with their grandchildren.

Kayne was born and raised in Effingham, where he is a current resident along with his three dogs. He is a graduate of Effingham High School and continued his education at South Western Illinois College in Belleville, IL, obtaining a degree in Marketing. In his free time, Kayne enjoys taking walks, riding dirt bikes and listening to music. Kayne looks forward to meeting you, listening to your concerns, providing you with the best recommendation to the maintenance or repair of your vehicle and guiding you through the process.

Allen hales from Flora, IL, where he lives with his two children and two dogs. Allen spent six years serving our country as a mechanic in the Army Reserves. In his free time, Allen enjoys playing video games and working on various projects. Allen enjoys helping you with your automotive needs and advising you on proper vehicle maintenance and repair. Dennis currently resides here in Altamont, Illinois. When he’s not at work, he enjoys working out and spending time with his daughter. Here at the dealership, he manages the new and used vehicle lots and the whole vehicle inventory.

Bill is originally from and currently resides in Teutopolis, IL. Bill is a part of our Parts team and enjoys helping his service team and local customers find the right parts and accessories to fit their vehicle needs. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, being away from work and volunteering with our local scouts.

Jerry currently resides here in Effingham, Illinois. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his sons and grandchildren and staying in shape. He’s loves swimming, golfing, snow and water skiing, traveling, and playing piano and guitar. Jerry leads our Accounting team and enjoys working with numbers but also interacting with customers.

Anthony currently resides here in Effingham, Illinois. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially his son & daughter. He loves baseball, hanging out with friends, and playing softball. At Dan Hecht, he works in Accounting, preparing financial statements and month end schedules.

Barb is originally from and currently resides in Sigel, IL. At the dealership, she is a member of the Accounting Department, filing warranty claims, processing sold vehicles and managing payroll. She most enjoys her coworkers and the relationship she has with the other ladies in her department.
Body Shop Technician
Cody is originally from Louisville and currently lives in Bible Grove, Illinois. Here at the dealership he is a Body Shop Technician. When he’s not working he enjoys going camping and horseback riding. Cody joined our team in the summer of 2017.
