Powertrains & Performance
The 2020 Terrain offers two engines, with the standard option being a 1.5-liter Turbo four-cylinder engine. This engine reaches an EPA-estimated 30 mpg on the highway so you can spend less time at the gas station.* The peppy 2.0-liter Turbo four-cylinder engine pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission and delivers 252 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
The SUV also keeps you in control on the road with the Traction Select System. When driving an available All-Wheel Drive model, this system can switch between Off-Road, AWD, FWD and available Tow/Haul modes so you can tackle a variety of road conditions.
Chic Design
Striking the perfect balance between style, comfort and versatility, the 2020 GMC Terrain is expertly crafted to complement any lifestyle. On the front of the exterior, the grille design and High-Intensity Discharge headlamps with LED lighting create a bold look. Meanwhile, the rear features LED signature taillamps, and there are available 19-inch gloss-black aluminum wheels.
The cabin has a contemporary style with real aluminum trim work and soft-touch materials. The leather-wrapped steering wheel and available leather-appointed seating lend comfort and elegance to each ride. You can also opt for the SkyScape sunroof to take in views of the sky and heated seats to stay cozy during the winter.
