Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is right downtown at 600 Ashley. It is bookended by the Glazer Children’s Museum and the Tampa Museum of Art on the north end and the Kiley Garden on the south. Culture and a waterfront park all in one handy package. The lawn there is ginormous so flying kites, airplanes powered by rubber bands, Hula Hoops and playing catch take on a new dimension. It is a place that says picnic like you mean it. There are splash pads for kiddies, a playground for adventure, a dog run for Fido, and a water taxi stop. Whew!

Tread Lightly!, a non-profit dedicated to promoting outdoor recreation through stewardship and educational programs, will receive $500,000 from the sale of the first production unit of the 2024 GMC HUMMER EV Edition 1 SUV at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction on Jan. 28, 2023. The non-profit will receive the full amount raised for the GMC HUMMER EV SUV, as Barrett-Jackson waived the fees and commissions typically associated with their collector vehicle auctions.

Buick today unveiled the Wildcat EV concept — an expressive vision of the brand’s new design direction as it transitions to an all-electric future.
The Wildcat was developed to convey the all-new design language that will influence Buick production models for the foreseeable future. Buick’s new tri-shield logo, mounted prominently on the body front and rear, symbolizes the design transformation and new production models will wear it starting next year.
