What’s New on the 2020 Buick Enclave?
For 2020, Buick expands on the Enclave’s family-friendly appeal with some appealing new style and convenience updates. The 2020 model comes standard
with a color touchscreen infotainment system. Buick has also made a new Sport Touring package available for the Enclave’s Essence trim. This appearancefocused bundle features chrome and graphite 20-inch wheels, as well as a unique mesh grille with body-color frame.
A Look into the Past of the Buick Enclave
Buick unveiled the all-new Enclave model to the North American market in 2008. The large crossover vehicle was well received due its roomy and feature-laden interior cabin. The first Enclave model was made available in front wheel drive and all wheel drive versions, and was powered by a V6 engine that delivered 275 horsepower. The Enclave made further waves in the luxury market due to its incredibly quiet interior that Buick developed using QuietTuning engineering. Subsequent years of the Enclave model saw increases in engine power and efficiencies, along with an effort by the factory to update the vehicle with the latest technology options. In 2013, Buick released a restyled version of the Enclave that featured a new grille and lighting package. On the inside, the 2013 Enclave received an updated dashboard with more soft touch materials and a touchscreen display system.
Buick is tentatively scheduled to release the second generation of the Enclave for the 2018 model year. Initial indications are that the factory intends to upscale the Enclave even more and attempt to further cement its status a luxury crossover contender.
